By visiting the website, registering, subscribing to meal plans, or availing any service offered by The Mama Chef, you expressly acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. If you do not agree to any provision stated herein, you must immediately discontinue use of the website and services.

The Mama Chef is a sole proprietorship operating from Kurhama, 191131, Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir, India. The business is engaged in the preparation and delivery of subscription based meals, primarily intended to serve students, with special operational focus on students of Central University. The Mama Chef reserves the right to restrict or limit access to its services to specific groups, locations, or institutions as deemed appropriate for operational, logistical, or quality control reasons.

The services offered by The Mama Chef are strictly subscription based and are made available exclusively through the official website. Customers are required to complete the subscription process by providing accurate personal and delivery information and making full advance payment through supported online payment methods. Accepted payment modes include UPI, debit cards, credit cards, and digital wallets. Subscription activation and meal delivery shall commence only after successful payment confirmation. The Mama Chef does not provide cash on delivery, partial payment, or post paid options under any circumstances.

All subscriptions once confirmed are final and non cancellable. The Mama Chef prepares meals based on advance planning, procurement, and scheduling aligned with confirmed subscriptions. As such, no requests for cancellation, modification, suspension, or rescheduling of subscriptions shall be entertained after confirmation. Customers are strongly advised to review all subscription details, duration, and meal plans carefully before proceeding with payment.

Refunds are governed by a strict and limited policy. If a customer has consumed even one meal from the subscribed plan, the subscription shall be deemed partially utilized and no refund shall be issued. If no meals have been consumed at all, a refund request may be considered at the sole discretion of The Mama Chef after internal verification. Approved refunds, if any, shall be processed only to the original payment method and may take several working days depending on banking institutions and payment gateway processing timelines. No refunds shall be granted for dissatisfaction based on taste, preference, portion expectations, or personal dietary opinions.

Meal delivery is handled directly by The Mama Chef using its own delivery arrangements. Deliveries are scheduled within a predefined time window communicated to the customer. While The Mama Chef makes every reasonable effort to ensure delivery within the stated time range, delivery timings are provided on a best effort basis. Delays caused by traffic congestion, weather conditions, road closures, power outages, strikes, curfews, natural events, or any other circumstances beyond reasonable operational control shall not constitute a service failure or give rise to refund or compensation claims.

The Mama Chef prepares meals that are homemade in nature, with emphasis on hygiene, cleanliness, and quality. Meals are prepared without the use of preservatives. However, the services provided are not medically certified, nutritionally prescribed, or intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Customers with medical conditions, allergies, or specific dietary requirements are advised to consult qualified professionals before subscribing.

The Mama Chef operates in an environment where common food allergens may be present, including but not limited to dairy, gluten, nuts, spices, and grains. While reasonable hygiene practices are followed, The Mama Chef does not guarantee an allergen free environment. Customers acknowledge and accept that consumption of the meals is at their own risk, and The Mama Chef shall not be held liable for allergic reactions, sensitivities, or health related issues arising from consumption of the food.

Taste perception is inherently subjective and varies from person to person. The Mama Chef does not guarantee that meals will align with individual taste expectations or preferences. Dissatisfaction based solely on taste or personal liking shall not qualify for refunds, replacements, or service credits.

Customers are responsible for ensuring availability at the provided delivery location during the delivery window. The Mama Chef shall not be responsible for missed deliveries due to incorrect addresses, unreachable contact numbers, or customer unavailability. In such cases, the meal may be considered delivered for contractual purposes without entitlement to refund or replacement.

All website content including text, logos, branding elements, images, layouts, and service descriptions are the intellectual property of The Mama Chef. Unauthorized copying, reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of any content without prior written permission is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

The Mama Chef reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the services, meal plans, pricing, or website functionality at any time without prior notice. The Mama Chef also reserves the right to update or revise these Terms and Conditions at its sole discretion. Continued use of the website or services following any updates shall constitute acceptance of the revised terms.

To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, The Mama Chef shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the services. This includes but is not limited to delays, dissatisfaction, health issues, missed meals, or losses caused by external factors. In any event, the total liability of The Mama Chef shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the relevant subscription period.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute, claim, or legal proceeding arising out of or relating to these terms or the services provided shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Jammu and Kashmir, India.
